The Foundations of Tax Law: It all started in Bologna

Professor Di Pietro is back in Ferrara. Although he spent most of his career teaching and researching at the University of Bologna, where he founded the Scuola Europea di Alti Studi Tributari, he didn't forget Ferrara, where he has been lecturing for years.

The occasion came with the publication of his book on Antonio Berliri, the founder of the Tax School "Scuola tributaria" at the University of Bologna, in which he traces the development of the research on taxation in Italy and in Bologna in particular.

It was a great occasion to discuss with students and describe a world that has been and that still resonates in books, articles, and studies.
