Far Away (So Close)
Final session of the seminar on VAT at INTA HQ, in Tehran.

There is a special place in my life and my career: it's with my friends and colleagues at INTA. The most unexpected meeting years ago (more than 15!) turned out to be the first step in a path that continues today, despite the complications of life and the world.

Teaching tax, be it DTCs or VAT (like in this case), is always a pleasure, a thrill, and a joy (yes, it may be).

This year, I presented on E-invoicing and met Dr. Pezeshkian and the director of the Tax Agency in person, an honor that my country never granted me.

Persia is far away, but so close.
